September 7, 2002 - Another law firm has filed suit against Baxter hoping to attain class action status. A plaintiff, represented by the law firm of Schatz & Nobel, P.C., has filed a lawsuit seeking class action status in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division on behalf of all persons who purchased or otherwise acquired the securities of Baxter International, Inc. from January 24, 2002 through July 18, 2002. Also included are all those who acquired Baxter shares through its acquisition of Fusion Medical Technologies.
