The Nephros DSU (Dual Stage Ultra Filter) produces ultrapure water which can be used in the dialysis chain of RO water production for Chronic, Acute, and Home applications. If you currently use ultra filters in your chronic program, the Nephros DSU can take the filtration level from .05 micron to .005 micron.

Dialysis clinics are only required to meet the  ANSI/AAMI RD52  standards for dialysate and may have bacteria concentrations as high as 200CFU/ml and endotoxin concentrations as high as 2 EU/ml. Bacteria/endotoxin limits are becoming stricter and the DSU filter is a perfect solution for water and dialysate quality control.
